How it works
1
Upload your PDF statement
Go to Import and drop your bank PDF directly β€” no Python script needed. CSV export files also work.
2
Transactions extracted automatically
Your PDF is securely sent to the BankLens parser, which detects dates, amounts and Cr/Dr markers, then returns the transactions. The file is processed in memory and never stored.
3
Review and edit
Fix any mis-read transactions, change categories, add missing entries. All data saved locally in your browser.
4
Analyse and export
View spending breakdown, set budgets, then export a clean CSV for records.

Saved PDF passwords
When importing a PDF, these passwords are tried automatically in order. If none work, you'll be prompted to enter one manually.
Common formats: Date of birth (DDMMYYYY), PAN number, mobile number.
πŸ”
No saved passwords yet.
Custom categorisation rules
Rules are checked before built-in keywords. Use plain text (e.g. AMAZPAY) or regex (e.g. UPI.*GROCERY). Rules apply to all future imports and can re-categorise existing transactions.

No custom rules yet.
Backup & restore
Your data lives only in this browser. Export a backup file to keep it safe or move it to another device or browser. The backup is a plain JSON file β€” it never leaves your device unless you share it.
Danger zone
Reset all settings β€” removes saved passwords, custom rules and custom categories. Transactions are kept.
Clear all transactions, budgets and import history. Settings (passwords, rules, categories) are kept.
